I'm drawing more Mrs. Flowey but it's too on-the-nose angsty... (feat third wheel Papyrus of course)
#i dont like it when its too angsty#well- ofc i like it but most of the time without buildup its like... dry#it feels forced#you dont need screaming and crying and death and injury for something to be interesting#yes its the easiest way to attract an audience#yes its also probably very easy to write#but i rather go the long way and back everything up with mundane “filler” things. which i think is more important than angst#and so much harder to write#what made undertale such a compelling story to me is that the dark stuff was only a small fraction of the game#its a shitpost at heart#a comfort game at most#and it made all of the sadness darkness and fear so much more poignant#flowey is a reflection of the bad stuff in undertale but i feel like he also deserves light-hearted content#but ironically not too much#cuz personally despite him being my favorite character and also the character i ship with my oc very self-indulgingly#i think his charm is that hes the little underused sprinkle of salt that he is#and making angst of him is easy but hard at the same time#flowey#papyrus#art tag#undertale#zarkas progress#mrs flowey#also im pouring all of the angst in red riding hood au and even so it doesnt even scratch the surface of the stuff im planning for it
