Based off that one scene from Avengers: Endgame, particularly Deputyrust's take on it.

Idea based off of this one old school commercial lol
There's nothing wrong with having some down time after a series of adventures. Especially if it involves treasure hunting across various parts of the world and evading numerous deathtraps and enemies trying to either eat or kill you! With that said, our Temple Hunter got to sit back and do some gaming . . . With world famous Lara Croft providing some comfort. As if joining her for an adventure or two and enjoying a stay at Croft Manor wasn't lucky enough. ;)
A lot of people would kill to be in his position right now. XD
"Although the cursed Blade of the Archfiend has been described in legends since antiquity, the circumstances of its origin are unknown. One prevailing theory suggests that the blade was forged from the molten remains of an iron meteorite that had been breathed upon by the Archfiend. One of these meteorites is stated to be able to completely wipe out a whole planet from existence when a direct hit strikes, the blade itself is said to be even stronger than one of these meteorites, When the Archfiend’s evil magic that is trapped inside the sword reacts to the power of the wielder, sparks run up and down the length of the blade, granting the wielder full access of the blades power.
The inscription on the blade’s surface is written in divine characters that are incomprehensible to humans. One interpretation of its meaning reads: “Praise be the order brought forth from the very edge of chaos.” The Blade of the Archfiend has been passed down through the generations to the most ruthless and powerful members of the Black Spider Clan and was the favored weapon of their leader, the Ninja Overlord, Genshin.
- Ninja Weaponry and Ninpo (Ninja Gaiden 2, 2008)
Not gonna lie, this was a tough one choose. It was either this one or the Kitetsu, but I chose Blade of the Archfiend. While I was going to draw him in action with the blade, I wanted to try something different and go with Jack getting the lore of his latest find by none other than Muramasa in his shop. Dude may be over 100, but he's very knowledgeable with relics and weapons of all manner, both ancient and new, from east to west. I really like how they both look here, like a curious grandson listening to his grandpa's stories. XD
Plus, I really dig Muramasa's shop theme lol
"A full time mother and homemaker, Megwynne Stormbringer had to defend her settlement from barbarian raiders while the menfolk were away on a hunting trip. She fought off repeated attacks armed only with a pitchfork and a rolling pin and with one arm holding her baby. Legend has it that the Gods, impressed by her indomitable courage, intervened and added thunderbolts to her arsenal. She won the battle with a couple of bolts to spare on her husband when he finally returned."
- Heroes from History: A Retrospective, (MediEvil, 2019/1998)
MediEvil will always be one of my favorite playstation games and is a gem that definitely deserves the love! Hey, Sir Dan was added into Playstation All Stars for a reason, you know!
There were so many good weapons to have our treasure hunting jackal here to get his hands on, so I decided to go with one of the unique ones: Lightning. Which was one of the most powerful weapons in the arsenal, shame for it's limited ammo capacity. But thankfully, after the 2019 remake, it was re-imagined into a magic gauntlet and could be recharged!
To hell with those imps though, annoying little bastards always snatching my gear. At least we get an achievement for frying 12 of them with the Lightning! X3
"I am the Fairy of Winds who resides in this boomerang. You have freed me from evil, and I now have my true power back. Please... Take it with you, use it to aid your quest, and may both my power and my blessing go with you."
- Fairy of the Winds, (The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, 2006)
______
I've been planning to add a Zelda item to the treasure hunter's inventory for a long while now. There was just so many to choose from and from so many different timelines as well! From Bombs, Hookshots and even sets of armor! But this time, I've decided to set my eyes on a more magical long range item, such as Twilight Princess' Gale Boomerang!
And by the looks of things, he seems to be enjoying it during his exploration of Hyrule's fields against the local monsters! X3
Behold, the third part of the trilogy . . . Or until I come up with another entry. lol
Suggested by my bud, thedogwhitatail, based on the Tomb Raider II ending.
Croft Manor was far larger than Jack expected. It was unfortunate that he didn't get enough time to figure out the manor's proper layout what with retrieving the Dagger of Xian and dealing with the Fiamma Nera cult. Oh, and their final assault on the manor. Let's not forget about that late night ruckus of gunfire and explosions.
With towel in hand, the temple hunter explored each hall and looked through each door to see where the shower was to relax after the day's crazy events. He could have asked Winston, but the elderly butler was nowhere to be found. (If the jackal remembered correctly, he was last seen near the freezer.) After a few minutes of searching, he made it to one certain door that he suddenly heard the sound of running water. Was this finally the one? Did someone leave the faucet on? Turning the knob, and taking a peek inside, he got his answer . . . Along with a pleasant surprise. ;3
