Yeah I realize it’s been a minute since I’ve last updated.

My Instagram and Tumblr will not connect for some reason. So I have to upload everything manually now. Such a pain. Anyway here’s a drawing I did of Sache la Monte. I’ve always thought she was so hot. So I had to do the art piece justice. 😂

Meditation

Yeah I know this blog isn't art focused but I have somethings I need to get off my chest....

Today marks a new beginning of my life. I just completed my first 30 minute meditation session a few minutes ago.

For the past 2 years I've been struggling with the thought that I just couldn't meditate. For years I would try to let go and actually get into meditating but I could never really focus long enough to see any desired results.

Well recently, I'm going by the motto that it's never really too late to start.  I downloaded an app called "Calm" and it has a lot of guided meditative content available for subscribers. A lot of it is almost exactly what I need at this moment. It's been really difficult for me to focus but I am definitely dedicated to the process. The app is subscription based with a hefty annual fee. But I look at this and many of the things I spend my money on as self investment. Anything that will help me become a better person is worth it in my book.

Simply put, I am tired of not really having friends I can count on, I am tired of meeting new people and being unsure if they like me for me or not. (This includes strangers, coworkers, women, artists acquaintances and so on...)

I'm going to be going through a shit ton of physical changes in the next few years. So I need my mind body and soul to be on the same page.

And it all starts with getting this meditation shit down packed.
