Minerals: Zdenekite
A very rare mineral, zdenekite (or zdenĕkite) has only been found in a few select locations around the world (namely in Europe, though it has also been found in Australia). It has the chemical formula NaPbCu5(AsO4)4Cl·5H2O and is reported to crystalize in the monoclinic crystal system. Visually, it is a pale blue or turquoise color. The mineral was named in honor of Dr. Zdenĕk Johan, mineralogist and Director of Scientific Affairs of the Bureau de Recherches Géologiques et Minières, France.
