#zebra domes

Last week...

Chris and I finally made time to go to breakfast at Captain Cook's at the Polynesian Resort and I finally got to try Tonga Toast! The tonga toast was good, definitely not something I could eat everyday but it was a good treat. 

We then rode the monorail twice contemplating going to Magic Kingdom but decided we'd stick with our plans to go to the Animal Kingdom Lodge and wait until we get our annual pass. 

After the monorail ride we left the Polynesian and headed over to the Animal Kingdom lodge, which I was very surprised at how big the property was! I loved the dark interior and we even saw some wildlife while we were there, that made my day. 

I didn't realize how far away The Mara was and we ended up taking the complimentary shuttle to the Jambo House. It was so hot that day that we decided to get lunch instead of only leaving with zebra domes. The food at The Mara was one of the best meals I've had so far on Disney property, it was hot and fresh! Overall a fun day and I look forward to returning to the Animal Kingdom Lodge one day as a guest. Until then!

Starting today, I'm going to post a picture of one of my favorite Disney foods each day until my trip in December. Yes, I'm fat. Get over it.

Zebra Domes. <3 A combination of cake, coffee, and alcohol. I could eat these every day for the rest of my life and be perfectly content.
