“Hey”—and I could see him shrug, that awkward version he did in his ill-fitting suit—“I’m a cop; that means I do threat assessment. I wouldn’t want to be on the wrong side of Dolph either." “Should I be flattered by the company?” “He’s six foot eight, you’re five foot three—he’s an ex–college football player and power lifter who stays in shape. You’re a girl. Yeah, you should be flattered.”

Day 3: Sci-Fi London Film Festival
Hello,
This evening there was a focus on Poland with 'The Hospital of Transfiguration' (1979). A hard hitting film directed by Edward Zebrowski following a young doctor working in a mental hospital in Poland. Set in 1943, the tension of World War 2 is looming and the young doctor, faced with corrupt colleagues takes it upon himself to show some compassion to his patients.
Although an amazing film, it really does hit home the gritty realities of war!
On a lighter note, some Storm Troopers invaded the festival. I attempted at getting a good photo but failed miserably. In the end I managed to catch a sneaky one just as they were about to change!
Until next time,
