Odd Theory About The Death Star Plans.

Okay, before Star Wars: Rogue One came out there were at least two video games in the Star Wars expanded universe involving the missions to retrieve the Death Star Plans. The first was Star Wars: Dark Forces (1995) in which Kyle Katarn (The Player) retrieves a copy of the Death Star Plans for the alliance before the whole fiasco involving the Dark Troopers comes up. The second Star Wars: Lethal Alliance (2006) involved a Twi'Lek mercenary named Rianna Saren (The Player) and her droid companion Zeero retrieving the plans as well. Now these two games did conflict with one another but it is stated in the game that the plans retrieved by the characters in Star Wars: Lethal Alliance are updated ones compared to the ones Kyle Katarn stole in Star Wars: Dark Forces. Now as for where Star Wars: Rogue One fits into the puzzle, my theory is that the plans that the characters from both games retrieved were redacted copies distributed to the lower echelons of the empire and their allies. The plans that were retrieved from Scarif in Star Wars: Rogue One were unredacted and accessible to only the higher-ups of the Empire including the Moffs, Emperor Palpatine, Darth Vader, Orson Krennic, and a handful of researchers/scientists such as Galen Erso. I know this might sound farfetched but I'm not sure if anyone else has ideas about the conflicts between the two afforementioned games and the afforementioned film.
