The Court of Haja Dhan’ya
(Well this got longer than I thought it would. I’m including tags for lore and parents because of it @clockworktophat-fr @crimsonsasaki-fr @kattafr @hellkite-fr @jollyroger-fr )
Tallah is the Holy Queen, a dragon Blessed by the Plaguebringer and the undisputed ruler of Haja Dhan’ya. Her clan is made up of powerful Plague dragons and they uphold the ideals of Plague to the extreme.
Beside her is her adopted daughter, the Holy Princess, Zeeva. Tallah heard rumors of a dragon with a piece of the Plaguebringer herself waiting inside her. While dissuaded from going to war with such a powerful clan, Tallah took advantage of what she perceived as that queen’s weakness to steal one of her hatchlings away and raise it as her own. Zeeva has grown to be a spoiled but powerful princess. Haja Dhan’ya’s hierarchy actually puts her command below that of the High Priestess, the Pristine Enforcer’s, and of the Divine Scholar’s, but that is something Zeeva often ignores.
The Priests and Priestesses of Haja Dhan’ya are magic users who practice dangerous and unstable magic, all in the name of strength. And none are stronger than Drest. The High Priestess was found as an egg by Tallah who took her under her wing and elevated her to great heights. The Priests and Priestesses work very closely with the Scholars.
The Enforcers of Haja Dhan’ya do just as their name suggests. Though primarily skilled in physical combat, it is quite common for them to enhance their skills with their own magical ability. Enforcers will often spend a short amount of time training with the Priests and Priestesses before they are fully acknowledged as Enforcers. Their leader, who operates under the title of Pristine Enforcer is Velanna, who is also Tallah’s bedmate.
The Scholars of Haja Dhan’ya are there to study magic, but never to wield it. Tallah decreed that no other would no more about the magic of Plague then they (with the exception of herself, of course), but their minds must also be free of desire for power. The Scholars study theoretical magic, pushing the boundaries of what is possible and indeed discovering what is not, before they turn their research over to the Priests and Priestesses for implementation. At their head is Aeoylss, the Divine Scholar.
