A few days ago, my dearest Acer laptop is acting up and I can no longer work on my design projects comfortably with it. Since I’ve been working at home for the past month, it’s really frustrating to not have any backup computer (I mean, if I work at a studio I should be fine because I can always use the computer at the studio, right?). So I finally decided to buy a brand new 13″ Macbook and a drawing tablet.
Damn, using tablet is hard!
I’ve been practicing using tablet for a couple of days but I can’t seem to get my lines straight T_T. They’re always jagged and if you zoom in really closely you’ll see how untidy my lines are, no matter how many times I change my brush presets OTL. So, in the spirit of making and designing and practicing new things, I decided to make this simple comic strip called “Zefa in Bali”. I’ve had this idea since my very first month in Bali. With my new tablet, I feel like this is the right timing to practice as well as to reminisce my working experience in Bali for the past year.
