This is Death, it is one of my most favourite characters from Terry Pratchetts Dicsworld Novels. He has an appearance in every book and always talks in capital letters. He is a very humane character. He tries to understand the human nature and how the humans tick. He adopted a girl and trained an apprentice. Both of the had a daughter who was the superficial grandchild of death. His servant is a former wizard who won a bet against him to prolong his live. I can only suggest you read the books or hear the audiobooks. For the German speakers, there are fantastic translations and really good narrators on Audible. The names of the characters are translated into german language and this is wanted, also by Pratchett himself who worked closely with Andreas Brandhorst the german translator. I really like all of the books but yeah everybody has his favourite books. Although Death and the Librarian are probably by far my most beloved characters but if you look after the plots it‘s not that easy. 1. The Watch 2. The Witches 3. Tiffany Acching 4. Death and Susanne 5. Moist from Lipwich 6. all the Ankh Morpork Novels 7. The Wizard (including Rincewind) 8. All the other Stuff _____________________________ Good Omens is also a really great book you should read, and Dodger. The newer Novels Long Earth etc. I didn‘t like. Now back to the pictures. I got the opportunity to buy some 30 mm miniatures from the Discworld novels in a local gaming store. Seeing that I play Warhammer, Star Wars XWing and other tabletops I went there and was pretty surprised to find those models. I didn‘t find the chest and Vimes so I have to get them later.
