Red Eyes - Zeldris
“Stop it,” she whimpered out as she curled up into a ball on the cold marble floor; she felt the eyes of her so-called lover stare her down; his dark eyes bore into her soul as she shuddered. She found herself incapable of looking at him, she didn’t want to look at him in fear that his eyes would be able to hypnotize her once more. “I don’t see what the issue is, my love,” he spoke calmly; a deranged and lovesick tone to his voice as he kneeled down to Y/n's level. “Don’t make me use my commandment on you, sweetheart.”
His tone bordered that of threatening as he used his forefinger and thumb to grab her chin and tilt it up so her bloodshot turquoise eyes were forced to meet his love-sick black ones. Looking at him now, Y/n noticed that his eyes had a red tint to them that she hadn’t seen before. Zeldris stared her down, a look of annoyance visible in his eyes before he scoffed at her, He adored Y/n, sure, but her constant refusal of doing what we wanted her to was beginning to drive him to the point of near insanity. Why couldn’t she see how much he loved her? He did everything in his power to keep her safe and this was the thanks he received!?
“You’re so ungrateful,” he scoffed in annoyance before he ran a hand through his hair and sighed in frustration. He stared at Cadenza before his brows furrowed; he felt a wave of rage and lustful desire rush through his body before his lips curled up into a sadistic smile as he stared down at her; his eyes unblinking. “I should change that,” he murmured lowly to her.
“Zeldris, don’t!” Y/n yelled out as her eyes widened in realization. A yell of pain escaped her as her lover threw her back down to the ground as he stood up, an arrogant look on his face before he laughed lowly. “Please,” Y/n whimpered helplessly as she shook her head at him. “Don’t go through wit-”
“Or what?” Zeldris asked, cutting her off as he grinned back at her smugly; both of them knew that he was in control here and that she could do nothing to change that. Zeldris was in control and that was the end of it. “You’ll fight me? You’ll run from me? Y/n, you can’t get away from me because no matter where you go I’ll always find you.”
Y/n fell into a pitiful silence as she looked away, staring as Zeldris grabbed a silver goblet that had very intricate designs on it; she recognized the demon clan crest on it. She only realized the crest because Zeldris had it on his forehead. However, what stood out the most to her was the dragon’s breath opal on it, the gem was a mix of colours; mainly a variety of purples, reds, or yellows.
“It’s beautiful, isn’t it?” Zeldris spoke lowly, a smug tone to his voice as he poured a horrible mulberry colour liquid into the goblets; the liquid seemed to bubble in the fancy silver container and released a stench that made Y/n shudder. Her stomach began to churn as she stared on in distaste, a loud sigh escaped her pale lips as she sat up; her green eyes staring at Zeldris as he made his way towards her.
“Let’s have a toast, my love,” Zeldris spoke with an offsetting smile on his twisted features. He managed to hold both of the goblets in one hand, the other forced the taller woman onto her feet as he handed her the goblet. “To your freedom, of course.”
Y/n stared, her eyes narrowed ever so slightly as she looked at the man; confusion filled her mind as she looked at him in disbelief. She doubted he meant anything by his words but she knew better than to question him. Reluctantly, she took the goblet into her hand; the stench was enough to make her shudder as she gagged in distaste. “What even is this?” She asked him as she stared at him, once again her eyes never left him.
A low chuckle escaped the other man’s lips as he stared at her before smiling. “It’s demon’s wine, my love,” he spoke before smiling reassuringly. “Anyways, to us!” Zeldris exclaimed as he raised the goblet into the air, he watched her with a weird look in his burgundy tinted eyes.
Y/n forced a smile before she drank from the goblet before gagging at the taste of the so-called wine, it was thick and had a strange metallic taste to it; she forced herself to not cough it back up and instead stomached it. However, she did wince and pull a slight face in response to the horrible drink.
“Horrible, isn’t it?” Zeldris asked her as his lips upturned into an amused grin as he stared at the feeble human like she was his prey. “Demon’s blood does taste horrible to humans, doesn’t it?” He asked in amusement as he watched her.
As if on cue, she had begun to cough and gag before she threw up blood; she fell to the ground and continued to gag before clawing at her throat ever so slightly. Her body felt as if it were being consumed by fire which caused her to tense up more, she sputtered and coughed more; all of the movement she was doing made her hit her head on the floor and eventually black out.
Zeldris stared the entire time before he picked up the goblet, he made sure he caught it with all the liquid inside. “She should wake up soon,” he murmured to himself in amusement as he placed the goblets aside; he’d clean them up later on if he had to do so. He remained by Y/n's side as time ticked on before he grinned to himself, a coy look on his handsome features as he kneeled down by her side.
After a solid five or so minutes, Y/n coughed before she sat up; her eyes opened and Zeldris grinned at the result as he burst out into joyous laughter. “This is great! This is perfect! You’re my toy at last! Now you can’t say no!” He cackled happily to himself as a wicked grin made its way onto his face.
Y/n’s eyes were no longer e/c. Now they were red and had no emotion in them whatsoever. If Zeldris didn’t look better then he’d say she resembled that of a doll as she just stared at him.
“You’re finally mine,” he whispered as he smiled and cupped her cheeks into his hands. “And you’re beautiful,” he whispered endearingly before he pulled her into a tender kiss with a smile on his face.
“Now you can’t ever say no.”
