the cool thing about sonny and his siblings, mainly talking about his older brothers is that i've already met/know/known them. i went to high school with sonny and all his older brothers, or have been drinking/hung out with them before me and sonny got together. so when we hang out or sit around and talk or whatever, even if i'm by myself with them it's not that awkward at all. like on friday, myself and john and myself and ross were all getting along really well and me and john even had a nice talk about lucy real quick. and it's just not awkward and it's so good, and because we all are close in age and they care about whether me and son are ok it's real nice. also, john saying "nah yo, you're my sis now. you're all good. if anyone messes with you and sonny just let me know" feels awesome. just like when i was saying if anyone messes with john and lucy i would straight not be happy about that shit either lol. being a part of a family that actually gives a shit about people is actually amazing and i feel amazing being in this relationship.
