Why isn't there more bottom Kaname in fic and fanart? Even in older fandoms like Naruto where fans are more resistant to switching in ships like say, sasunaru, there are many dedicated Sasuke bottom fans as well as dedicated Naruto bottom fans and it's easy to find fics/fanart/doujins with either or.

However, in vampire knight with say Kaname x Zero, Zero is almost always the bottom in every fic and fanart with little bottom Kaname appreciation even though it's totally cute and in the few bottom Kaname fics/fanart that we do have, they aren't completely unpopular or irrelevant. Hell, Sagakure (a prominent vk fanartist, translator and fanfic writer when the manga came out) was a popular bottom Kaname fan and yet bottom Kaname material is more so a slight treat in the fandom rather than an option.

Hell, I believe Kaname would bottom not just in Kaze (or I guess Zeka/Zeme lol), but in plenty of other ships as well. Yet I rarely see this explored by other writers even when I personally know with my own decently liked fics and experience that the audience is there, there's just less creators than there is makers, and it baffles me a bit.
