Is Anyone Else Having This Problem?
Yo I had no intention of making this public but it seems I’m literally out of options at this point.
I ordered a fanzine bundle from @zenyattazine back in July of 2019. And said fanzines were supposedly shipped out on December 3, 2019.
I have not received mine yet.
Exactly 10 days after the announcement was made that the fanzines were shipped, I sent an email to them just checking in to see if it would make sense for it to have been delivered by then, if they had tracking info, etc. To that, I got a response saying that since they’re being sent from France it may take a while, and unfortunately there is no tracking. And I was like “Okay no worries, I’ll keep you guys updated on whether I do or do not receive the zine.”
14 days later. Still no fanzine. I send another email inquiring because I’m more concerned that there might have been a mishap with the shipping. No reply from @zenyattazine. “It’s okay,” I thought to myself, “The holidays are happening right now. Maybe deliveries are backed up, and maybe the zine folks aren’t responding to me for the same reason.”
Ha.
16 more days,,, later. It is now January 15. Still no fanzine, still no response. I send another email. I give them my name and my order number, just in case this magically makes them respond to me information is helpful.
Once again, no response. So about a week later, I tried contacting them through the zenyattazine tumblr blog. I sent them an ask, but hey guess what?
It is now January 28th. I have not received a response from their tumblr either.
Tl;dr It has been two months since @zenyattazine sent out their fanzines, I haven’t gotten my zine bundle, and they haven’t been responding to my emails since Dec 27. Is there anyone else who is experiencing this same issue? Or have other people gotten their copies of the zine already?
At this point I’m very frustrated and don’t know what else to do (hence this stupid post). I’m willing to give the zenyattazine mods the benefit of the doubt. Maybe the postal service messed something up. Maybe there’s some crazy things going on in their lives so they haven’t been able to answer my questions. I don’t know.
But just like,,, someone help me please omg this is driving me crazy.
