thinking about fanclans .. maybe set in a fictional setting based on the californian coast / us northwestern coast? so far it'll be three clans, one newer and the other two much older!
zephyrclan, the newest, is focused of self expression and freedom.
stormclan, twin of smokeclan, is focused on spreading culture [expansion], and pleasing their ancestors.
smokeclan, twin of stormclan, is focused on knowledge, competition, and bearing strong warriors.
so far, zephyrclan is the most fleshed out with notes! originally formed as a safe haven for cats of all backgrounds fleeing natural disasters or harm, they banded together, claimed a reasonable amount of territory, and learned the ways of clan life from the smoke and storm. they definitely have much different views that the elder two!
smokeclan and stormclan have constantly bickered between eachother since their foundation, often over ideals, kits, land, and personal squabbles. they seemed to have mellow out as their focus has shifted on "fixing" zephyrclan.
