Their purpose is to collect music in any form, and understand how it effects Human emotions. Can music be used against Humans? That’s what they’re going to figure out. They’ve recently discovered horror movie soundtracks and have been testing high pitched noises out. So far it seems effective in causing fear in Guardians.

They’re friendly unless they or one of their Vex are fired at. If you’re dumb enough to do that. Run. 

Zerion will approach Humans to see if they have any kind of music. They accept all forms. Recordings of songs, cds, vinyl's, just singing for them, making a wicked sick beat on the spot, whatever you got. They’ll take it. In return you’re given a random object. 

The end goal with Zerion is still to turn everything into a suitable habitat for the Vex though. Giving Zerion music does not exclude you from that goal. If anything you’ve marked yourself as a suitable host.

Yana was once an angel that Zerion tricked. Zerion broke Yana down and forced her to work for them. The thing behind her in this picture is what she used to look like. Broke her rings to be her bones, her eyes smashed to become flesh, her wings shattered to tie her forever to them. Idk. It was an idea I had while zoning out at work
