So it’s been over a year since myself and a few others came up with the rules for this sims 3 challenge! I kinda got overwhelmed with running it as a sideblog but I thought, why not bring it over to my main blog and share it here? so here it is!

Rules below!
Your Goal: To see how many simoleons you can make in one in-game week!
Rules:
You can start in the provided house, (download link!) and you may not sell anything inside the house
OR make your own home with the bare necessities: bed, fridge, stove, and bathroom.
The week begins on Sunday, 8am, and ends on the next Sunday morning. (you don’t have to be super precise just don’t cheat and use the whole Sunday!)
You must play in Sunset Valley.
You can use any sim, vanilla, berry, banilla but you must randomize your traits.
Once you have your sim moved in, you must set your family funds to $0 using “testingcheatsenabled true” and “familyfunds (last name) 0”
No money related mods or cheats allowed. Needs must be set to dynamic.
You may not have any job whatsoever. This includes rabbit hole jobs, part-time jobs, and jobs from Ambitions, Showtime, Resort owning, etc.
You may not travel to University, Egypt, France, China, or the future.
The only way to make money is by gardening, selling collectables, fishing, trait features, and opportunities.
You may not use the Dusty Old Lamp, Philosopher’s Stone, or Inheritance lifetime rewards to make money.
And you may not use Complimentary Degree or Rebel/Jock/Nerd lifetime rewards to gain an extra trait.
The Seasons Festival is banned, you may not visit it to make money with the hot dog eating contest or selling the ticket prizes etc.
Breeding and collecting the dragon eggs that come with Dragon Valley is banned.
