the last of us starters!

wide eyes stare at the boy before her, an ear twitching as she processes his words. a hand moves up to scratch theback of her head, lips pulling into a defeated expressionbefore she speaks up. ❝ i mean, there’s not much we cando about it now! ❞ she says, her lips forming into a pout asshe glances back towards ekko. ❝ the last time i rememberedmy bag being was in the marketplace, and i might have droppedit by a stall… ❞  she trails off, huffing gently. it was akin to findinga needle in a haystack, but she glances back to the zaunite boywith a hopeful look—she didn’t even know how to get back tothe marketplace!

     Ahri squinted at the Zaunite and placed one hand lightly on her hip. Although she wasn’t a genius like Ekko was, she certainly wasn’t dumb, and if she wasn’t mistaken…

          “— I’m like… ninety nine percent sure that means I’m wrong.”

       ☀ —— A SMILE creeps upon her features as she gazes upon the boy sitting before her, slender fingers gently combing through his white tresses as she bites back a laugh. “ oh, come on! you have to change it up sometimes. ” she clicks her tongue playfully. “ have you ever thought about having it not defy gravity for once? i wonder how it will look! i still can’t believe you can get your hair to stand so tall! ”

“W- What are you doing?” [zero-drxve]

With her hand gently grasping his arm, Tyrian looks at Ekko in concern - she had heard the sounds of a fight nearby, but arrived at the scene too late, and all she found was a young man bloodied on the ground.

“I’m checking your injuries, of course. Just .. hold still for a moment, okay?” She has heard of this young man, of his distaste towards the city state which she has become so fond of - but right now, that matters not. All she sees in this moment is a boy who needs help, and she carefully looks over the damage.
