SCATTERED TOMBSONA HEADCANONS
Sent these in the Discord but I thought Tumblr would enjoy them as well, plus a few added headcanons
- Rust gets condemned to the house if he’s hurt and he’s really salty about it
- Armstrong is the mom friend because the others are NOT very good at taking care of themselves, he’s also pretty observant and good at reading people, which is another reason
- Zero and Armstrong keep bringing home cats, Tesla has made an automatic feeding system for them
- Doc sometimes vanishes for months, everyone suspects that he is responsible for various missing cases but nobody says anything
- Tesla has known Doc the longest, before the band they’d cross paths occasionally and hang out
- Zero has hacked all of their consoles and most of the electronics in their shared home
- Zero and Rust were the first Tombsonas to become friends and were the founding members of the band
- Doc has a phone but never does anything with it
- Tesla has a shit sleep schedule, they stay up late working
- Zero has a shitty sleep schedule as well
- Zero likes Pokemon and has a Flareon plush as a comfort item (based on me irl!)
- Rotom is one of their top favorites
- Generally Rust is a pretty light sleeper but if he’s feeling relaxed he’s definitely harder to wake + if he’s out, he’s OUT
- He’s most relaxed when he’s at home with the rest of the band (like during movie nights) and ESPECIALLY with Zero.
- Also he almost always feels like he has to be alert and ready, which is why he usually sleeps light
- Tbh nobody really realizes that Rust and Zero are together until they’re explicitly told. They’ve always just kinda been like that™️
- All of them are arospec/aspec but it’s more in the sense that none of them have traditional views of romance/sexuality, plus it’s hard for them to recognize if they are in love
- I don’t want to give all of them proper sexualities but they’re all under the bi umbrella
- Obviously this isn’t true for every single host but Zero has AuDHD
- Rust has a human pulse, Tesla has an electrical current, Zero has both a human pulse and a faint electrical current, and Armstrong and Doc just. Don’t have a pulse at all
- They like watching Studio Ghibli, Aardman (no real reason for this one other than I’ve been watching Wallace and Gromit with my siblings), Laika, and basically just any animated films not made by a big mega-corp (with the exceptions of The Nightmare Before Christmas, Wall-E, and Spiderverse)
- They also watch The Muppets (inspired by that clip of Rust doing a Kermit impression)
- Everyone’s glow fluctuates based on emotion but it’s most obvious with Zero
- Zero has loaded their bed with plushies, pillows and blankets, it’s like a nest
- Armstrong and Doc know the most sign language but the rest know a few basic signs which is useful for if they need to communicate non-verbally
- Rust and Tesla fuck with one another but in a crisis they actually work together really well
