Okay, so, it is pride month (happy pride!) and I need to point some shit out. I was recently at a pride event and there was protesters who were making it about religion with signs about Jesus. I'm open to all religions, races, sexualities, ect. But this shit is pissing me off.
Personally I'm agnostic, and when someone is a different religion, I let them be, because thats amazing.
If it is "love thy neighbor" then what if thy neighbor is gay, huh? Being gay isn't a fucking sin, it's a preference. Its like saying "Oh, you like apples and I don't? Go to hell!"
Also, most, if not all, people in the LBGTQ+ community let's people be if they're Christians or some other religion that they're not. So why the fuck are Christians not letting us be? We're minding our own business, so why don't you do the same? Fr no shame if you Christian, but let us be bro, we being ourselves just like you are.
Btw, if you're a homophobic Christian reading this and you want to try to convert or explain to me this shit, please just keep scrolling.
Also aren't some people in the pride community Christian? 😭
