She accepts that hug with a hum, resting along the taller woman's shoulder for a sense of security, "So you were pulled into this universe as well...I'm beginning to wonder if the targets are randomized or deliberate."

In her defense, Toge had spent most of his initial hours exploring the area and testing his cursed speech, so the teen hadn't even been present at the same time of her arrival.

His head turns away out of respect for her decency, waving it off casually.

"Don't worry about it. It's nice to meet you, miss...?" Right, he should probably introduce himself first, it was only polite.

"Sorry, my name is Toge. Toge Inumaki."

The list of concerns L.L. had about his and well-- the people he cared for well being hadn't gone down much further since the last few conversations with other individuals. Each day passed relatively uneventful.

Boarding on boring if not for the fact he still knew so little about the ins and outs of the wards and the beings that made them. Fighting off what could be repetitive with splashes of exploration was helping. The library was helping even more.

The spice of life was variety after all.

And for him there really wasn't anything spicier than--

"K-- Kallen?"

She holds out a hand carved chess piece. It is a queen. It also looks like a beginner tried to carve it. Further inspections shows that Kallen has bandages on most of her fingers. Despite this she is smiling. "Happy Valentine's day, Lulu."

He's quick to notice the gift nestled in her palm but even quicker to notice her wrapped fingers. The scolding was teasing the tip of his tongue but he bit it back. Kallen has done far more dangerous things for him at his request. A simple token of her appreciation from her own will was special.

L.L.'s features soften as he took the small figure like a precious gem. It was certainly precious to him now. He leaned close to press a kiss to her cheek.

"Thank you, Kallen. Happy Valentine's day."

She hands C.C. a small box. Inside is a matching friendship necklace. One half of a heart that makes a full one when combined with the one around her neck.

Her eyes sparkle a little looking at the necklace for a moment, then immediately taking them out to loop her arms around Kallen's neck to put them on her. C.C. can't help the giggle that bubbles up from her throat, allowing the other to put her own matching side onto C.C., humming pleasantly as she played with the half of her pendant.

"Thank you, Happy Valentines Day."

"M--My dust?"

He bulks just a bit as he looks up from his phone.

"What's the question?"

Oh, I guess we're roommates, huh?

His head whips around at an unfamiliar voice coming from behind him. Toge had been so absorbed in his phone trying to locate anyone else from his school, that the other had given him quite the scare.

"K-Kon-"

Right, he didn't need to use his safe words here, he had discovered that while testing his cursed speech on more blank faced individuals roaming the neighborhood.

"Good evening."
