It had been a long day for the Cyborg, having been sent to an entirely different city to take on a threat because the heroes in the area had been understaffed. He really needed to make it back to Sensei, he had dinner to cook.
He crashed down from the sky right in front of a young woman, intending to take out his last villain of the day.
“This sector is highly dangerous, I suggest you withdraw immeditatly.”
He stepped in front of her, staring down the golem-like villain that had appeared.
“State your identity, after which I will incinerate you.”
The monstrosity glared at him with indignation.
“State yours first, hero!”
Genos merely sighed and took a combat stance.
“Genos. Codename, Demon Cyborg. S Class, Rank 14. Affiliation, Heroes Association.”
It recoiled.
“H-Heroes Association?! S-Class?! What is someone so high ranked from another division doing here?”
“Defeating scum like you. Incinerate!”
He unleashed a large volume of flames from his right hand that completely destroyed the other. There wasn’t even a trace of him left.
He reached up and touched his ear piece.
“This is Genos, my job is completed. I’ll be reporting back to City Z now.”
It was only after reporting that he realized he forgot to let the other speak his name.
Ah well.
