When reloading a pistol, here are a couple tips: 1. Keep the gun straight up and down while ejecting the magazine and then rotate to accept the new magazine once the expended magazine is gone. Sometimes angling the gun and THEN hitting the mag release will cause the mag to get hung up in the weapon because of the angle it’s being held. 2. Only bring the handgun back as far as you need too. You will have to “re-conquer” the ground that you lost from full extension once the reload is done.
