I thought it would be fun if his equivalent name to Astral was “Zero”, since he’s taking the role of the “original number” in this one (and he doesn’t exactly get to have a nice pretty astral world given name considering he’s the half of astral they Didn’t want to stick around).
he Feels Things, very much so, in fact he feels things to the point of it being a detriment. He can often be observed as swinging from one extreme to another on the emotional spectrum, and gets extremely possessive over things that he perceives as “his” (even if they aren’t exactly good for him). He has a serious separation anxiety and is incredibly insecure about being isolated again, considering his time in the Key was spent as a prisoner, not an envoy.
he takes a lot of inspiration from Astral as being “barian but not exactly” as opposed to Astral’s “astralian but not exactly”. Just like the barian world, he was the half that was sloughed off in an attempt to be rid of him altogether, and when that failed, well, this is what we got.
because of that I also wanted to make his “scars” very orderly and patterned, unlike Astral’s much more chaotic and ‘realistic’ ones. Almost like surgery scars in comparison to blast scars— because he was always meant be removed from Order.
