Time has moved on in this chapter a little, I wanted to speed up their progress. So yeah, Thack's now in a more comfortable place and wants to be around Mally again. Meanwhile, Mally's kind of been shooting for 'best friend of the year' in this time. He feels guilt about the previous weeks, but he's also just really enjoying being around him once again.
And yeah, he got totally sprung looking. TOTALLY. (i based the theoretical top of thack's tattoo on that drawing you did of thack in his boxers). Thanks heaps for reading and replying once again!

I’m also loving Thack’s boldness and the small things he does to still be close to Mally. I really just want Mally to come to the realization that he feels the same way about Thackery as the hare does for him. Mally being a smarmy bugger again is a relieving return to form! I missed writing him as such, too. Thack's making a huge effort to push past that potential reticence he might feel at being physically close to Mally again. He desperately wants things back to normal, and normal for them entailed being casually close a lot. I think Mally is taking his cues from Thack, and with Thack being willing to reach out of his own free will, Mally is taking the initiative.
The wheels are definitely turning in his head, but he really doesn't know what anything means yet. His admiration for Thack has never been in question. It's just... can he develop something else? Tarrants still so much fun to write. He's not intentionally being obscure, it's just how his brain works, though :D
Thank you for replying. I should take the opportunity to say that I've greatly enjoyed the skype chats we've had about this stuff. It's fun to talk it out, and more often than not, in the middle of a conversation I get another idea! So that's always cool. Thank you once again, dearheart!
