The full timeline is subject to change. These are merely the intended and preferred goals to hit, but I am not necessarily incentivized to meet them.

Due to the complicated legal landscape between Silvergate Media (Sony) and Wanda Kids Cultural Development, the current plan is to have both seasons initially be “aired” at a to-be decided location.

Episodes will be gradually uploaded to Internet Archive as they are aired, to allow easier access. However, there IS a non-zero chance that there will be issues with this.

I will ensure both seasons are on Internet Archive by Early 2026.

I will have always have a backup plan for any changes along the way, do not worry. My DMs and Asks are open for questions!

I'm disappointed to have to say this, but having judgemental opinions of people on the JTC dubbing project gives you NO RIGHT to make fun of or insult them and their voice, especially in PUBLIC.

Heya! I'm curious, how/why did you learn Chinese/Mandarin? Or did you learn it cuz of family or smth?

(You don't have to answer if you don't wanna I just have a really high interest in the topic of languages so I'm curious! T-T)

Octonauts was actually one of the major reasons I continued my Mandarin studies. I'm majorly self-taught.

As for why I started? A couple reasons! It's a gorgeous language. I found a deep level of respect and appreciation for Chinese culture, a lot of media I liked was in Chinese, as well as being the most spoken language in the world.

It was a little bit of an easy choice, given I had found it significantly easier to learn and understand than Japanese at the time.
