Dialect falls loose in translaton

trans-actional deficit

in words and syllables

for the mind cannot see

what you cannot percieve

synthetic attonements

for an outcropping of

inverted inertia,

STOP-pull-throw

tumbling to fall

below depths

reset the recess

rise upon excess

exert, restore,

bellow and swallow

swords forged from the sanctity of silence

lost in a swell of dissolution

despairing in perceptual fallacies

driven through the ear.

You each wear faces Following my paces I want to wish you away But you refuse to stray Clawing my innards, you crawl out my ears Now you’ve got me on the verge of tears You continue to fight I must be such a sight Face flashing from anger to anguish to bliss You all wear masks and speak with lisps You push me to the bottom and step on my head While you leave my depths and dominate instead You surround me with vestigial faces Different emotions switching places I’m spiraling downward to your fixed expressions Rattled by your sessions Your escapes unpredictable, I lie wondering if my own is capable…

I spend my days drifting away and back between dream and a reality that feels so fake Blinded in a different realm, feeling through braille to stay intact The world’s tendrils feel so brilliant I wish not to wake Filling life with thrills I hang on tight, floating around like a dream-warped kite.
