Weylin nearly jumped in his seat when he felt the long fingers brush against his thigh. He snapped a look at Zied, whose face was the picture of bordem as he listened to the council, even as his fingers went higher-

HIs face burned at the squeak that he wasn’t able to stop. Zied looked at him, followed by every lord and lady at the meeting. “Are you alright, my king?” he asked, liquid amber eyes bright.

“Do you need a break?” asked Lord Adohen. “We have been at this for a while.”

Weylin gripped Zied’s golden tan wrist, trying to move it, but it only went higher, that steadfast assassin training taking over. “Quit it or I’ll bite you,” Weylin whispered, through gritted teeth.

A smile curled on Zied’s face. He leaned forward. “You’re making a scene,” ZIed, whispered, in Weylin’s ear. His nails bit into Zied’s skin, at the words caress. “Relax or I’ll just go higher.”

Weylin stared at him, but Zied already turned back to the council meeting, completely ignoring the pleading look Weylin was giving him. “As you were saying?”

yall weylin tries to hard to be polite and composed and to present himself as a king but Zied gets under his skin soooo easily and enjoys making weylin Flustered and Bitchy as Much as Possible

🖊 - Esca was a lonely leetle boi, and Ivor’s ghost kept him a lot of company. and when he was alive, Ivor also kept Esca under his wing a bit. its why Esca caved and let Weylin Go instead of reporting to his father where Weylin was headed

🖊 - Zied’s first kill was when he was nine. His father had the dude tied up to make sure that Zied couldn’t be hurt, but he had to learn Some How :/

🖊 - Asa and his mom garden a Lot. He plants a lot of herbs and flowers for his work, but also bec theyre Pretty and smell nice :’)

🖊 - Andras and Cenric butt heads constantly bec Cenric assumes a leadership role in the family, kinda being a fatherlike figure for his little brothers and Andras hates it.

🖊 - Cenric has some burns on him from when the twins were leetle and learning how to use their powers. but most of the damage is gone, but there are places where its obvious. Asa still feels v guilty about it, and Andras does too, but he wont really admit it

They have an interesting dynamic. Weylin isnt a very violent person. He’s quiet, steady and pleasant for the most part. He wants to rule, and for their to be Peace. And then there is Zied, a swaggering bisexual assassin who picks fights like he breathes air

Zied was raised from birth to be a ruthless warrior. He is arrogant, vain and so Extra. He’s been spilling blood since he was seven years old. He is a gifted cutthroat killer but he has such a Big Heart

He cares deeply for people and wants to protec his family and friends. But he will also push people to the breaking point if he thinks he needs to. He can get down right sadistic if he has to 

He is considered a Prince of Assassins and has earned that title as much as he was born to it. The people of the glass desert instantly know who he is when he walks into the room and he is given a wide berth. He is both respected and feared. His rep is notorious

He and Weylin butt heads a Lot. They also have a habit of saving each other too. they meet bec he saves Weylins life- and then he had to decide whether to turn Weylin over to his uncle or to let him Go

They go across the desert for days and Zied Knows there is something bothering Weylin and he goads him, or rather Weylin lets him goad him into a fight and he ends up pinning Weylin into the sand with a knife at his throat which just turns Weylin on tbfh

Zied is a very affectionate and loving person, and he would love to show Weylin, but Weylin is very discrete as well as trying to stop any and all advances. he Knows he has to marry, and he knows he has to continue his line and he doesnt want to give anyone any ideas that would end with someone hurt

but y’know, shit happens, and he starts to really Care about Zied and he kisses him and they start to fuck around while at the same time Weylin is preparing to take back his throne. But he has every intention of leaving ZIed in the glass desert before he returns to Mohar
