⭐️ This is the same character are my marvel/In Space With Markiplier sona! Her name has been changed since last time to Ziggy Meredith Quill 💕
⭐️ In her Dispatch AU, the Guardians were the founding members of the Phoenix Program, as the first villains to go against a greater evil and come out heroes. She was 12 when this happened, and 15 when they died fighting as heroes. SDN removed them from all marketing not 24 hours after the memorial service.
⭐️ Ziggy tried to take up her dad’s mantle, like Robert taking on Mecha Man, but her connection to the Light (her cosmic energy source) is diminished after her dad dies, so she is only able to work with his old tech and her own fists. She gives up when the “new Star-Lord” is giving SDN a bad look and is asked to ‘retire’.
⭐️ She works as a dispatcher and the lead of the Sidekicks program, a teenage intern program where young heroes can get experience on the field. She’s studying to work with children, mainly after seeing how her own life was so negatively affected during childhood through adolescence.
⭐️ She’s offered a second chance to work as a hero in the field under her own name, Starburst, and in a new uniform with a piece of alien technology (the warp core crystal from ISWM!) giving her a stronger connection to the Light.
⭐️ She and Robert bond over being “failed legacies” and he invites Ziggy into the polycule to have drinks with his team so she can have adult time outside of work, her favorite members of Z-Team are Waterboy and Prism.
