"Don't be distracted by criticism . Remember- the only taste of success some people have is when they take a Bite out of you." #zigzaglar I've dedicated myself so much to a lifestyle of Fitness I often forget myself how much work I've done to arrive at the place I'm at. The beginning photos were me a couple years ago. In those pictures I actually was eating very healthy, dieting, doing hot yoga every day (I wasn't a teacher yet) , and running. I hated myself . I hated my body. I was constantly overwhelmed by depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and just way too up and down of emotions. I had very little self awareness and I was stuck in a mental rut. I thought lifting would make my already ginormous legs even bigger. I had a giant pancake ass. No I wasn't just born with a great ass and don't mistake it- I work daily for my body. I decided to get a trainer (I went through like 5), and I've been to multiple gyms until I found my Home in the walls of @Brewhousebarbell . What do I do to keep my body like it is now? I built muscle, and that muscle I built I supply with adequate protein to not lose any of it. I have zero food restrictions and zero guilt or even thoughts about what I eat. I eat that intuitively. Judge it- I LOVE my body and it keeps getting better and better by doing what I've allowed it too... I shut my brain up and listen to my body and give it what it needs to become it's most Aware version of itself . I lift 3-4 days a week , heavy compound lifts. For the last couple months I've done a yoga practice every day, and hot yoga 4-5 days a week. 😌🙏 Yoga keeps my stress levels down, lifting puts muscle on the frame that I keep healthy, flexible and supple from yoga... it's my balance in life. It's taken me two years to get to a place where I literally eat alll of the things and keep a 6 pack. Don't fool yourself- it is possible. It's called moderation, body awareness, and becoming a better Listener rather than just being really good at TELLING your body and controlling your body. Try on TRUSTING and listening to the body.... it will amaze you if you allow it.🙏😌#myfitnessjourney #weightlossjourney #girlswhopowerlift #shelifts
