The Zillas are very durable chewies made out of a soft “TPZ” (Thermo Plastic Zillastomer) polymer. The Zillas are 70A durometer (soft). The material is very responsive and very “chewy”, something which is difficult to achieve in a super tough chewie. The Zilla material is not “shiny”, thus not attracting much dust.
The Zillas come in two sizes (4″ long and “Jr.” 3 1/4″ long, both 1/2″ in diameter) and in different designs:
Tube Zilla (Clip on and Lanyard)
Tube Zilla Jr (Clip on and Lanyard)
Cord Zilla (not yet available)
The Tube Zilla Jr. is 3 1/4″ long and the diameter is 1/2″. The end is “capped” so you don’t need to worry about saliva running through the tube. The Zilla is divided into three different texture zones; smooth, ridges and partial ridges.
The material used is very chewy and responsive, which makes it excellent for a chewie material. The material does not seem to take almost any damage from chewing (at least my Zillas have yet to show any sign of wear and/or tear).
A larger version of the Tube Zilla is available (4″ vs the “Jr.” 3 1/4″) for older people or those with larger mouths.
A very durable chew that is much softer compared to the other very durable chewies
Works for almost all chewers
Has three different textures
Available on a neck lanyard or a clip on
Comes with a 90 day no-chew-thru warranty as well as a 100% money-back warranty.
As of now only available in bright red (light blue to be added later)
May not work for people with severe TMJ or jaw problems as the material “bounces back” to it’s original shape quickly (which also gives it it’s “chewiness”) which may result in jaw fatigue/pain
Not very subtle due to color
