ah, invader zim. after all these years, it’s like seeing an old lover again. old flames burn brightest, none other holds a candle, yadda yadda...
in honor of my reentering the invader zim fandom after many years of hiatus (thanks to enter the florpus for bringing back my childhood,) and in honor of the new generation of zim kids, i remade one of my very favorite amvs from when i was a kid. the (painfully cringey) original was made over ten years ago- when i was a mere twelve years old. it no longer exists, but rest assured this version (also painfully cringey) is no better.
i’m absolutely living for the resurgence of scene culture, and the resurgence of kids in fandom making ‘edits’ (the hip, trendy word for amvs) i love it, and i loved making this, it was incredibly fun. if this was your muse as a tween, i recommend going at it again.
anyway enough chitchat! enjoy my very self-indulgent little video where i pretend tak was in enter the florpus and? i dunno, spearheaded an attack on earth via the irken armada, or something. i loved zim teaming up with the membrane family in tak’s original episode, and i would’ve loved to see that again here.
