Not sure if any of you will be interested or not, but I completed my second year of vlogging and so I made another yearly compilation to celebrate.

Hey guys, I started a vlogging channel almost a year ago and thought I would give up on it (as I do most projects) but a year later and it's still going (true, not as regularly as first intendes but going nonetheless) I made a short video showing some of the stuff I did and if you can spare 2 minutes, perhaps you'd like it? This is the first time I've told anybody asides from close friends about it, so I'm a little nervous, but I hope you enjoy it.

Mission three: ZimZoe Assault Guy

Turn one and we see the new enemy, a small floating disc that fires way too much for anybodys liking. It panics another teammate, trapping him in a bus stop. So another member and I start to sneak around on it. It's back here that we saw another alien. With two discs and my teammate guarding the ship door I was the closest. A teammate blew out the wall next to me and I became unnerved. Too close or an alien hypnosis attempt? A disc went down next to me and I ran to other cover, not knowing if it would explode on death. Safety didn't last long as another member was in trouble, I ran over to offer help, only to be shot outside the alien spacecraft. My death allowed four others to live. I consider that a success.

Mission two: ZimZoe Assault Guy

Breeched the building behind the landing point only to be faced with a new type of alien. In close range I murdered it flat out, the first kill of the night.

After being sent towards the alien ship whilst my team members dealed with some other aliens, I spotted an alone trying to hide, allowing my teammate and I to throw a grenade each and kill it.

Four teammates and I got ready to breech the alien space craft, using an rpg to blaat open the doors and smoke grenades to pin them inside and unconscious.

We find that they’re evolving, so I threw a gas grenade to stun and sedate, which landed perfectly between the two creatures. I also gave my medkit to my teammate Nooya, to stop his bleeding wounds.

I was then sent with another member to guard the door, leading the team and we gained the alien craft, winning the mission. I was promoted once again.

This is my first time at a third mission… I don’t know what to expect.

ZimZoe lives on!

Dopefish gave me another guy in Xenonauts, this time an assault guy instead of shield girl. My new guy also looked suspiciously like TotalBiscuit... All eight of us saw the first alien, but I was the only successful shot, suppressing the alien and allowing me to through a stun grenade, which may have accidentally killed instead of stunning the alien... After a brief encounter being suppressed by tha aliens, I was sent in to breech the ship. I murdered the first alien I saw and suppressed the other. We then cleared the site of the aliens, only losing one crewmember and I was promoted. Again, I survived my first mission.

Shield Maiden: Mission Two

*Takes two steps off ship and spots alien* Only guy who can save me, misses four times.

I got shot twice and lost my shield… ‘This doesn’t bode well’

I hit the alien with 19% accuracy. My teammate missed with 95% accuracy.

After a joint effort, the creature was killed and I stole it’s gun and Dopefish set me to checking the offices. Whilst I was doing that the rest of the team breeched the ship and took out three aliens. Allowing me to catch up with them when there was only two left.

The aliens had us at a bottleneck. I was one of three operatives on the front line and that was where I died.

My sacrifice allowed five of my crewmembers to survive. I will be remembered, though probably not by ZimZoe, but as the immortal Shield Maiden

Shield Maiden

I am so easily excited, when I got chosen to be an officer in Dopefish’s stream of Xenonauts I was so excited. I probably shouldn’t have… with Xenonauts being a rebooted X-Com, I was bound to die.

Sure he marched me through sleeping gas and knocked me out, but at least we now know that it does that… -.-’ The first to go down, but at least I got a promotion and didn’t die on my first mission… unlike four other members of the team.

But I got the awesome nickname of Shield Maiden, which I thought was adorable.
