Park Rehyun, regarded as a pioneer of modern Korean art during the late Japanese colonial period and the following decades. I stumbled across her exhibition “Retrospective: Triple Interpreter” during my stay in Seoul. It caught be by surprise how much tranquility and calm her work displayed, despite coming from an era of hardship. Her words in the exhibition were of those of a feminist, giving a perspective and challenging the status quo so gently. The last three New Year’s Eve celebration have been eventful & memorable! Despite the ups and downs, I am eternally grateful to everything & everyone that is in my life, the love and positivity! My only new years goal is to maintain and improve this ♥️ Started 2020 with high hopes in Taipei with a drastic change of life and move to Hong Kong! We entered 2021 whilst living in Korea and in the midst of pandemic restrictions, spent it at home watching the festivity unfold on TV!
