This artwork was created early 2013 as one of my first pieces during my college studies. The artwork is the personification of corporate society we live in. Using the figure as a position to make a narrative on incorporation of the youth in this machine we all take part building. In the figure the face shows sign of unrest and anxiety while he looks for meaning in the distance. Very relatable to this day and age. Art nouveau influence is used to relate to that period of time and the social life that was changing. Industrialization was happening and the youth was in the same position. Also the use of organic inspiration in art nouveau can represent the want to turn back to a more natural balanced lifestyle.
