It hadn’t been long since he’d moved to Port City and even then most of his time was spent at home - he’d barely explored the city at all, outside of the coffee shop around the corner from his house. Which was why, on the one time he thought to scope out the city, he found himself horribly lost.
But this was the modern age, an age in which it was near impossible to be truly lost. Cellphones, google maps, and the internet were supposed to protect people from being caught in such perilous positions. Naturally, however, Lukas had left his phone at home - not that he really understood how to use it anyway.
As it got closer and closer to night fall and Lukas had yet to find himself somewhere familiar, he began to resign himself to the fact that he may have to ask another person for help. The thought of having to talk to a stranger filled him with an unconquerable sense of fear and it took nearly an hour before he could bring himself to approach a rather non-threatening guy standing outside of a bookstore.
“...I’m lost. Where is the local graveyard?”
