Keeping it a bit more simple with Two-Face! Naturally I had to make her a Zircon, since she is a lawyer after all. Again, her backstory is pretty much the same as in BTAS. An explosion explodes and heats up half her gem, making her look like that. She has cracks on her face because of course it was a traumatic experience.
Pay attention to the diamonds on her elbows in her first form, it will come up later ;)

As usual, individual transparent designs under the cut
I'd like you all to meet my gemsona, Diamond-Cut Zircon! Official designation zircon Facet-LA8, cut-1DC. I know it’s a little weird to have a gem with a cut that’s not in the show, or one that resembles a diamond’s cut, but to be fair we have seen plenty of gems that are almost assuredly not diamonds with a diamond cut, so I’m sure it’s possible. Plus I think it works for her character quite well.
Color wise she's clear, with an emphasis on white. Her color scheme is made up of a sort of rainbow dispersion, like you'd see from an actual diamond cut zircon--I'm pretty sure that zircons are suppose to have a higher dispersion than even diamonds.
I believe that she’d be from Era 1, grown on Homeworld but shipped around the vast gem empire to prosecute and defend gems the universe over.
So, this is one half of my gemsona as she first emerged. I’m still working on the other half, trying to figure out how fabric works, lol. She’s a sort of representation of my logical side, and a character that I made long ago but as a gem because I’m absolutely obsessed with gems.
She’s quite a stickler for the rules, homeworld’s and then her own code of honor when she is later... forced to defect. She’s obsessed with perfection, and sees White Diamond as the epitome of perfection, though over her life, she slowly learns that perfectionism is dangerous, and her idolization blinded her to what’s truly right and wrong. That’s why she has a diamond cut gem, because it represents her desire to be perfect, and her ego of being close to perfect or even like White Diamond. I don’t think she’s ever met White Diamond, though, like most gems, just heard about her through propaganda and the grapevine. She grows to be almost a dictator over the band of gems she and the other gemsona I’m working on are leading, more or less, but with time and surely massive consequences, she learns to be less of a nutcase.
She’s not a very expressive gem, even when she starts to be a bit more... moderate (I guess? Less of a perfectionistic dictator, anyways), she’s still very stoic in the face. Though she has a very hard time hiding her anger, when it gets to a certain level. It was a very useful asset to have in the courtroom. She’s very logical, and even-tempered in most scenarios, though it seems like life always wants to throw situations where her patience is tested. She’ll always strive to do what she thinks is right, no matter the personal cost. Of course, she isn’t perfect, as much as she’d like to be, and she can mistake what the right thing to do is, or have her morals misalign with those around her. And, of course, it’s far too easy to get carried away with thoughts of grandeur and power when you’re so obsessed with WD. And you have a variety of bad influences around you.
I would say that she’s pretty quick to judge others and to want to punish them for their sins. I think that she’d be pretty religious, and I’d love to share my thoughts about gem religion someday, but today isn’t that day, not yet. I’d say that she’s vindictive, but I don’t know how to explain that thought.
