😈 Is there anything you enjoy doing that you think your readers hate?

i think a lot of my more recent work and wips are a bit of a turn from my initial Fanon Soft Destiel fics but i think the audience for it is different ! the easy answer is that i love 2 take two years to write a fic for no reason and readers typically don’t love that lmaooooo

from a nearly-finished or soon-to-be repurposed fic intro timeline about mary and her brushes with death

In 1964, Mary wielded her first weapon, a .22 long rifle meant for hunting, the socially acceptable kind, and that’s what her father had told her mother she’d be doing. She still remembers the way her father’s chest filled with pride when she wrapped her fingers around the gun, the way he paraded her through the woods like a prize, the way she found the first signs of the monster they were tracking and the way it lit her daddy up from the inside out.

That night, her daddy killed the monster and got her home in time for supper, their little secret. He tucked her into bed with a wink over momma’s shoulder and Mary shone so bright she could barely sleep

📚 Do you read your own fic?

I do! Usually it’s older fic that will pop up in my notes or kudos emails and i go back to see what’s goin on with it. i have such a garbage memory that i find fics in my own wips that i don’t remember starting so that’s always fun too. i really do try write more for my own taste, especially lately, which has been so fun !!!!! so rereading my wips and projects is so fun i wish they were finished and i could read them more!

💭 What is a headcanon you have about your own work?

the cas from my fic unexpected consequences is my favorite au cas i’ve written and i’d like to apologize to him for the smut vehicle i put him into. it is a very fanon-leaning fic BUT veterinarian cas who lives above his practice and his only friends are his animal patients and all the little old ladies in town love how gentle he is with their pets and he doesn’t have a car so when he makes house calls for the farms in the area he shows up perfectly on time and having obviously walked there regardless of the weather or distance. he paints all his regular patients on the wall of his practice and his favorite is a chicken named babe the pig. babe the pig the chicken is my favorite oc actually. she wears a harness and walks on a leash.
