What are your fave wincest fics?

i have so many but there are two that are incredibly important to me!!

the ballad of the invisible boy (and its sequel two-headed boy) - this series is honestly the best thing ive ever read, it makes you feel nostalgia for a time and a place that you’ve never been. it’s really slow burn, it’s all pre-canon; sam and dean’s childhood, adolescence, how their relationship grows etc. amazingly in character, you can really feel the boys’ personalities and emotions from their perspective as you read. it’s brilliant and emotional and perfect, read it!

kin & keeper - there is nothing quite like this fic. beware that it’s super fucking heart-wrenching. similar to invisible boy in the way that they both document the brother’s pre-series relationship but this one takes place after sammy jumps in the pit and dean goes to live with ben and lisa at the end of season five. all pre-canon appears in flashbacks. so so good, she truly manages to convey how deeply the boys are/were intertwined in each other, and how they suffer when not together ahhh my heart.
