They saved a group of enslaved people who had put out an SOS for help. Unfortunately, one of them found out Kai was an AI because she was bleeding a weird blue fluid from injuries she received while fighting to rescue them. Because of this, they told the flotilla Zohe is dating an AI, and now Zohe will be put on trial and potentially exiled.
