Notes on the "Three Beings" that occupy my story universe.
At all times, there are three beings of godly might and creative power walking the earth.
Their lives can span for many centuries but these beings aren't immortal. They can suffer the same kind of trauma as any normal being. Their flesh can be rended and their bones can be fractured. But death doesn't come so easily to them.
One can lift heavy boulders or even the weight of a building--oftentimes remotely. One can leap over towers and land softly if he or she chose to. One could simply choose to not land at all--but rather float freely in sky. If alerted, one could brace for the impact of an oncoming train. Their sight allows them to see beyond the range of that of a bird of prey. Their hearing allows them to listen over long distances. Simple physicalities aren't at all an obstacle for any of these beings. Sleep too is no hindrance, as one can choose to forego sleeping.
These beings have a very great potential for destruction, yet have creative efficacy that rivals the divine. Much of what these beings are adept to is unknown and it is thought that some beings have a higher aptitude for certain wonders.
One's appearance varies widely, based on his or her preference for form or characteristics. One's natural state of age is halted while he or she is very young. Though one tends to stay in a familiar bipedal hominid form, one would depart from it to take the form of different organisms, or even inanimate objects if one wished to for a period of time.
These beings are born human and awaken to their capacity once a previous being has departed.
They have come from different walks of life and from many different places on the earth.
These beings have been called many different things by those who have witnessed their spectacle. Such descriptions as illusionists, sorcerers, conjurers, enchanters, demons, or witches have been recorded. More specific names such as Medea, Hecate, and Circe; Yamanba, Baba Yaga, Taltos, Diana, Morgan La Fey, and Lilith have also been ascribed to some beings with varying degrees of accuracy.
