Heartless horizon soulmate allsaps au???? This idea struck me and I needed to write it down. Kind of a drabble and kind of a yap session, I donāt even know. Contains: Fluxarata, piercesaps, zolisaps, sharparata, flowsaps
Nobody knows how many soulmates they have, although the average person only has two or threeā some unluckly people got none, and the luckiest ones got four or even in extremely rare cases five. Most soulbounds werenāt romantic, they were common and the majority did have them but not having a romantic soulmate wasnāt unheard of, and happened often enough people donāt even spend a glance at it.
Saps met Flux when they were young, and the moment they made contact, they simply knew what they were to eachotherā what they would grow to be, what they were destined to be. Together. They werenāt sure in what way, since soulbounds were always vague like that, but they knew undeniably they would be by eachothers side. And when Saps went years after that without finding another person he was soulbound to, growing from a boy to a teen to an adult with only one persons soul wrapped around his own, he assumed he had just been one of those unlucky people with only one soulbound. He didnāt mind though, after all, he had Flux. And Flux seemed more than happy to keep Saps to himself.
And when he decided to start an empire, one that would promise safety for those who didnāt want to partake in the servers violent habits, he didnāt think anything would change despite the amount of new people he would meet. And he wasnāt sure if it was a good or bad thing when he was proven wrong.
Naturally, a new faction with so many people flocking to it caught the server owners attention, and thatās when Saps met Pierce. That by itself would be pretty surprising, but he couldnāt have expected that when Pierceās hand had reached out for a handshake, he would feel the familiar yet unfamiliar feeling of the adminās soul brushing against his own. Pierce had clearly been surprised as well, and Saps wasnāt sure what to make of the way he stared at him like he couldnāt believe what he was seeing. The admin had disappeared without explanation after that, quickly typing a teleport command and vanishing before Saps could think of what to say.
Saps wasnāt sure what to feel about having a second soulbound, but he could tell Flux didnāt like it. He knew he tried to hide it from him, but if thereās anyone who knows how to reed Flux like a book, itās Saps. And he could tell his soulbound didnāt like the idea of Saps having someone else. He just wasnāt sure whyā was he jealous? Of who? Saps, for having a second soulbound while he doesnāt? Or of Pierce, who gets to have Saps in a way only Flux had before?
When Pierce returned, it was with the other admin, the one Saps had only heard mentions of from rumors since he, Zolister, doesnāt often engage with average players. It seemed stuck up if you asked him, but Saps decidedly didnāt say that out loud. Pierce gestured for Zolister to do something, and Saps watched in confusion as Zolister let out an exasperated sigh yet obediently listened to whatever Pierce was telling him to do. Saps was confused when he grabbed his wrist in a not quite harsh, but definitely not gentle way. The realization hit him once he felt a familiar feeling from days earlier. They were also soulbound.
Okay time skip because Iām not explaining all the filler between everything. Basically: Flux dies > Zolister gets imprisoned in the end > Saps finally has his safe kingdom but is now alone with none of his soulmatesā¦. Until he meets two other players all the way out in the end.
Saps wasnāt sure whether he was supposed to be relieved or sad. Flux had died, and Zolister was the one who killed him. Yet Saps would be lying if he said he didnāt desire to feel the way gentle, blood-soaked hands cupped his face. He blames it on the hollowing loneliness he feels from knowing all his soulmates are unreachable. Flux is dead, Zolister is imprisoned, and Pierce unable to enter the end. He achieved his goal, a safe kingdom no one would ever find, where players could live without worry. But, selfishly, he wasnāt satisfied.
Thatās when he meets an unfamiliar player. Admittedly, it wasnāt the best first introduction with some of Sapsā guards rushing in to yell about being attacked. But when Saps went to see what the hell could be happening, he was met with a blond man with blood splattered on him, no doubt belonging to one of his guards. The man eyed Saps with what looked to be consideration of how much of a threat he was, before coming to whatever conclusion as he stepped toward Saps. Saps glared, wings flared defensively and trying to not show any of his nervousness, drawing his own sword when the man got too close, pressing the tip of the blade against the netherite chestplate. And thatās the moment he feels a familiar feeling, yet one he takes a moment to place since itās been so longā a soulbound, someoneās soul brushing against his own. The other player is equally as surprised, and takes a moment before equipping his sword.
Saps learns the players name is Sharpness, and surprisingly, he didnāt have any particular reason for roaming so far out in the end, he was just looking for strong players to fight since heās heard rumors of strong players living out in the outer end rings. But for some reason, Sharpness easily decided to stay with Saps, as his self-proclaimed guard. Saps⦠wasnāt sure what to make of it, someone being so attached to their soulbound so easily. If Zolister, who he had known for far longer, had the capacity to betray Saps in such a way as killing his other soulbound just to keep Saps to himself, then whoās to say Sharpness, someone he he just met, wouldnāt also betray his trust? But Saps is lonely, and the feeling of having a soulbound so close by him is comforting, so he lets Sharpness stay.
The next soulbound he meets is similar, and he gets an odd sense of DĆ©jĆ vu when some of his guards rush in to tell him that apparently, someone (Flowtives) had shown up and abruptly started fighting Sharpness. Of course, as king Saps has an obligation to make sure his kingdom doesnāt get destroyed, so he goes and checks. Heās surprised to see someone fighting Sharpness, and even more surprised to see that they seemed to be holding their own quite well to the point where Saps couldnāt tell which one of them was winning. Flowtives clearly takes notice of Saps, and notices the way Sharp seemed to get even more tense once he took notice, looking torn between continuing fighting and rushing to Saps side to make sure he was safe. Noticing the obvious weak spot, Flow decides to take advantage of that and gets to Saps before Sharp could, raising a sword to his throat and threatening Sharp to stay still. Or at least, threatening him was the plan, but the moment he grabbed Saps he feels a soulbound brush against him and is startled by it. Cue Sharp and Flow arguing over it while Saps is just incredibly confused who the fuck this person is and why Sharp knows him.
Okay enough yapping this post is way longer than I meant it to beā¦ā¦ but some other random thoughts are: Evo and maybe Supzec also being Sapsā soulmates, endgame Zolisaps or Piercesaps, Zolister killing Flow instead of Proper when he gets revived because apparently he makes a habit out of killing Saps other soulmates (possessive motherfucker).
