I just read the peakest most insane freak zoey/rumi fic with a hint of polytrix

It was tagged monsterfucker zoey bc she is.

We need to make either that or freak zoey a tag.

Gonna be so real I'm gonna need zoeystery/zoabby/zobaby in a "your idol" context stat.

And zomance if that's ur vibe.

There's some rlly good art on twitter of mystery singing the lyrics to her and then cutting in with "You don't belong anywhere....except here" and she is so far gone. And there's another where she's gripping onto him like a lifeline - it's good shit.

GIMME THE NOT NECESSARILY TOXIC BUT LIKE...DARK LOVE? GIMME THE CORRUPTION! GIMME THE BOYS BEING SO SOFT TO HER WHILE ALSO BEING LIVING UP TO BEING THE STAR SHE RELIES ON.

Zoey wants a place to belong, that's what Gwi-ma offers her when she gives in to his voice. she's a composer and lyricist, she's desperate for attention/praise and forms lots of crushes....

She's also once again very much a hidden freak/pos.

Obviously there's a lot of content and ideas of rumi performing with the saja boys, but what about zoey?

(Mira too, but I'm also like...her thing is she doesn't deserve a family, gwima doesn't offer her one.)

One of the boys sees her smiling at the song in the audience, hell maybe gwima sees her smiling and is like "we can use this..." and gets one of the boys to go fetch her (or calls her to come closer)

Maybe a slower burn finale where the boys are having a much longer concert, rumi snaps mira out of it first and while they're hunting for zoey and protecting people in the crowd the boys pull her up on stage with them to try and prevent the three of them uniting again to restore the honmoon.

(Using my "the deal you make with gwi ma determines what demkn powers you are proficient at" hc here zoey would temporarily start exhibiting mimicry to be able to "belong" on stage.)

OUGH even worse idea- sound check and mira and zoey are brought personally to hear the song first and mira is like "whelp. We're fucked". Zoey just nods "definitely fucked." The boys minus Jinu come to see them after to gloat their victory over the girls and hell maybe even offer them the chance to survive and become demons.

I don't think zoey or mira would take that deal though. I think that whatever combination of mystery/baby/abby/romance you want would see that zoey was so into the song that she's in wayyyyyyy deeper than mira, but in a different way. Mira is entranced by the words and orders- to walk into the fire and be set free. Zoey is entranced by every facet of the performance, but not the orders to offer herself to gwima.

Basically she's down atrocious for the demon boys and your idol just really revved that up by making them the only constant she has- and they should 100% use that. (Cough cough this is soundcheck- they have to get ready for the show and maybe mira is so far gone zoey let's them lead her away bc she needs something to ground her.)

EVEN WORSE- the soundcheck wakes zoey up from the trance, but when it finishes she's teetering again, mira won't respond and she needs to do something- so she tells herself she's going with the boys just to get information and to regroup, they're keeping her just barely floating in the sea of despair.
