Organise Your Shelter!
One of the key ingredients for your survival, in the event of a zombie pandemic, is a secure shelter that is of course zombie-proof. I am not here to tell you to start shopping for an underground bunker… how miserable. I believe that a solidly built house above the ground would be a much safer option because you can see what is happening and will know if danger is at your front door. A new printer designed by Professor Behrock Khoshnevis uses concrete and polymer resin to construct a house. Khoshnevis believes that the average size home could be designed and completed in 20 hours. The beauty of this technology is that firstly the material used is stronger than the ordinary concrete currently used to build homes. The concrete-polymer combination can stand 10,000 pounds per square inch of pressure. Secondly the CAD designed home can take on any form.
Ideally, you want your shelter to be off the ground, since hypothetically zombies are unable to climb. So a home designed on a post or suspended by wires would be the most viable solutions. It may also be an option to build a home in a body of water. Creating a home on a post in the ocean is not only safe but also great for the environment. The material is the same currently used by scientists to regenerate coral reefs. The post of your shelter could become a new colony of coral, which in turn attracts sea life…dinner. These printers are a godsend for us preppers. I am certainly not telling you to invest in one of these printers, as they would be extremely expensive and impractical. However, I do recommend that you consider investing in the services they offer. After all they are estimated to cost 25 percent less than the manual construction of a home.
Happy Prepping.
