Where is your character’s stronghold/safe house? Why?
It would most likely be somewhere that she could manipulate easily; probably a small corner store of some sort. That way she has eyes and ears on everything as well as supplies.
What is their call sign for their friends?
A whistle
Clothing & Gear
Describe your character’s typical outfit when searching out in the wastes of NYC for supplies.
Something that would allow her to move as freely as possible. Yoga pants with a proper fitting tank top and sneakers.
What kind of bag do they carry? You have 5 slots for miscellaneous objects (non-weapons) to bring outside your safe house.
A small crossover backpack- her trying to keep it light with essentials. What could be found in it would be a first aid kit, flashlight, radio, walkie talkie, batteries.
Weapons
Primary weapon: Handgun, Rifle
Secondary: Throwing knives, Molotov Cocktail.
Melee: Tomahawk
Vehicle
What do they use to take them through the wastes? Or do they just go by foot?
Brooke would most likely go by foot most of the journey, though would use any automotive resources available to cover as much ground as possible.
Group
Who else is in your character’s stronghold? What are their weapons/group duties? Keep in mind the people had to be in New York City prior to the outbreak—nobody from outside the city can be there.
Brooke would definitely maintain a set in her group, each with special skills and abilities to help each other out. One would definitely be her sister Ivy. With Ivy having intelligence and also knowing the in's and out's of the city.
Is your character a leader or follower?
While she doesn't mind playing her part in the background; Brooke would have no problem taking on the leadership position when she feels something isn't right or guidance is needed.
Survival
What is your character’s mindset? Are they positive/negative? Soft or hard? What are their goals? Do they want to merely survive or find a cure?
Brooke is one that would definitely maintain an optimistic attitude. She has a bad habit of showing her feelings anyway and knows it would only discourage the group by being pessimistic. However, her positive attitude would not be overshadowed by her hard exterior. Being soft will only get you so far and the weak will only go so far. While surviving is an everyday goal, Brooke would also like to find the cure so she could stop running.
When your character searches for supplies, what do they look for? Where do they look? Do they go alone or in a group?
When she searches for supplies, Brooke looks for anything that could be of use- not only just for the moment, but in the long run as well. Flare guns, batteries, weapons, ammo-etc. She'll look any and everywhere and will never go alone unless she has no choice.
Your character comes across a small horde of zombies—you can kill them all or sneak by. Keep in mind that loud noises attract more zombies. What does your character do?
Sneak by them.
Your character can’t make it back to the stronghold before dark. Where do they set up temporary camp?
She would find someplace desolate and hard to reach. That way she would be hard to spot and get to.
Does your character kill every zombie they see, or let them be in case there is a cure for the infection?
Brooke would only kill if she's left with no other option. Seeing as how she'd be hesitant it wasting ammunition and afraid to attract another wave of zombies- she'd try to sneak past when she could.
Decisions
Your character can only take two luxury items back to their stronghold. What do they pick?
Her mother's locket and a picture of her and her family.
Your character’s group is put in a compromising position. Your character can only save two people from the virus/being killed. Who do they choose and why?
She would choose Ivy since she's an important aspect of her life and Jake.
The person most important to your character gets infected with the virus. In 24 hours, they’ll become a zombie just like the rest. How does your character react?
Brooke would definitely be broken, though she would try to hold it together. However she wouldn't kill Ivy no matter what.
Your character discovers there may be a way to cure the infection. They need to test that it works, but it means your character must subject themselves to the virus with only a 30% change of the cure working. Do they do it?
She would do it if it meant potentially saving lots of other people, and even if it doesn't work it could help further research.
If the cure doesn’t work, what are your character’s last words before being zombie-fied?
It would most likely being something cheesy like a corny joke or a riddle- anything to help lighten the mood.
If the cure does work, who does your character resurrect first?
It would be Ivy and anyone else that was with her.
