Was inspired by miyusketches to fill in my own Ninjago OTP chart :)

I just want to yap about this pairing and why I love them so much.

Lloyd and Vayu first met in the Tournament of Elements. (Vayu wasn’t actually supposed to go, but after hearing that her bestie Skylor was going she decided to come along anyways.) and Vayu instantly felt a connection to Lloyd, not in any sort of bond way, more of a familiarity because of his dragon heritage.

Vayu was sent to Ninjago to protect the realm itself, and the FSM’s descendants. So at the end of ToE, when Vayu is invited to the team, she accepts instantly. And over the course of the seasons they grow a strong bond and we FINALLY break away from the normal romance formula.

You see Ninjago does the same thing with its romantic plots almost every time. I kinda hate that, so a nice slow burn is what this is. I tried to compare their time from when they met to their confessions similar to Jaya. For Jaya they had a pilot(/special) and 6 seasons before officially getting together. Voyd has a special (Day of the Departed) and 6 seasons as well. Though not everything is written out because it would be too similar to the original show. Vayu doesn’t have as much focus in season 6, 7, and DotD, so it is not written. Maybe I’ll do some background doodles at some point?

Also want to point out Lloyd’s design really quickly. The pointy ears are actually not a feature he has always had. He has human ears up until season 9 when he unlocks his Oni form for the first time. I guess sorta similar to a scar his ear is like a reminder of his origins now.

(Also yes Vayu is actually shorter, but her horns and fluffy hair sometimes make her look taller, it’s a lie.)

TLDR: one silly guy managed to get me so fixated that I spent $80 on a game

I was once a casual watcher of Poppy Playtime.

Any time a new chapter would come out I would watch a play through, check out Astral Spiff’s out of bounds videos, and then move on with my day.

I got Project Playtime when it came out. But the fixation only lasted a few days. I tried to set up times for people to play with me on call but no one showed up. Either because they didn’t want to play, were asleep, or don’t have the devices available to play. And that was fine. Was a bit sad about it and the mild fixation died slowly after.

It is by some way of a miracle that Catnap, a four legged PURPLE cat did not set off a hyper focus. Seriously it’s right up my alley with the Smiling Critters. And the beautiful scenery that is Playcare. I don’t know how I didn’t even get the entertainment of a hyper focus in my system.

And then came chapter 5, was just kinda watching it cause I had nothing else to do. And then came this guy, the silly, the boy, my son,

I only saw a play through 2 days after the chapter released and since I wasn’t active in the fandom I never saw the leaks. I am so grateful for that. The design wasn’t what I was expecting and that made it better for me. I honestly expected a lot more human bits but this design made a lot of sense! Eliot would want to try and make him like a toy so he could do it with Poppy. He needed to make sure it worked.

AND OMG THE PROTOTYPE ACTUALLY BEING OLLIE IS SOMETHING I LOVE! I love getting subtle little hints that turn out to mean big things later. And it makes the scenes with Ollie seem more impactful for me.

The Prototype also just tickles my neurodivergent brain so much. He reminds me a lot of Sun and Moon from FNaF. The unchanging smile. The jester look. The spinning face! I LOVE THEM! His interchangeable voice is so interesting! You never know what he is gonna sound like next. And it makes his lines so much more interesting to listen to!

And I genuinely haven’t been this hyper and received this much dopamine since 2022 security breach era. I AM ON A HIGH AND IT KEEPS RISING! GENUINELY ITS SO CRAZY TO ME.

So why bring all of this up? Well I needed to share with tumblr that this guy tickles my tism so much that I just spent $80 getting every chapter and game. And I will be spending whatever I can on the next one. Might record or stream my reaction for Chapter 6 if I have the time.

Saw a lot of fanart and even a fangame for Growth of Giggle and decided to check it out.

HOLY PEAK! GENUINELY I THINK THATS THE BEST DOORS SERIES IVE SEEN SO FAR! ITS SO PEAK AJSBWJDBJWBDJDBF

I also find it funny that some of the lore in there lines up pretty well with what I’ve been cooking up for my own doors series. I’ve had Manual Reset planned as a sequel to Light a Spark for about 2 years by now. So it is a big coincidence that they have lined up. I think it’s funny and I will definitely draw it later.

I hope you don't mind me asking but I want to know if you can talk more on the element of Sky?

Like what powers does it give it's holder

And how powerful is it specifically compared to other elements

YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW LONG I’VE WAITED FOR SOMEONE TO ASK ME THAT :D

Similar to how Heat and Fire kinda bounce off each other, Wind and Sky have a similar connection and can often be mistaken for each other.

Elemental masters of Sky have the ability to channel weather, which if mixed with another element can become a storm. So basically they can control clouds, fog, wind direction, and stuff like that.

You know how both Heat and Fire can create fire? Both Wind and Sky can control a breeze, but for Sky elementals it is much weaker. For example of power:

Morro used his powers and was able to keep himself above water while the Preeminent was dragging him down. And Euphrasia was able to carry both herself, but also Arin and Sora.

Vayu was only able to lift herself across a short space for only a short period of time. And she is unable to carry another person with her powers.

Sky elementals are more for defence than offence. For example: they could create a fog cover that limits viewing distance. Or like mentioned before they could mix their powers with another’s to create a storm. So Vayu and Nya could create a rainstorm, add Jay, thunderstorm. Vayu and Zane could create a blizzard. Ect.

Vayu is a first time element so there is plenty to explore (aka, I know I will think of more ways it could be used later and really only came up with this element to make sure I didn’t have a continuity error in my fanfic).
