Just seems that he made it a point to reference 1d and specifically Zayn. He could’ve left off Zayn, or not included the Zayn figure fading, or scrapped the idea completely. He doesn’t pretend Zayn wasn’t there, he doesn’t pretend Zayn leaving wasn’t a big deal, and he doesn’t pretend like 1d wasn’t a huge once in a lifetime catalyst. I love it because you have to put yourself in Louis’ shoes-how it feels to go from touring the world on a massive scale at a breakneck pace

I love it too. If I didn’t have work today, I’d just watch it over and over. It’s so poignant. I’d love to see him and Zayn work together.

i remember that it was either louis or harry that had been listening to zayns new album before they turned it off for the public.

I’ve never heard this anywhere but I am adding it to my head canon. I don’t know which I would find funnier—Harry I guess. The two of them hate listening lol. Occasionally muttering under their breath, well that one’s not too bad or I could sing that better. Thinking of Louis listening just gives me a sad.

I think Louis casually mentioning Z is a good thing; it means that he still wants that friendship with him, he just doesn’t think they’re ready to have that conversation (even though it’s been 5 years since he left but i’m not hurt :)) )

"he rarely seemed happy after Zayn left" Exactly. I think Harry was devastated. Zarry were the closest ones in 1D. their relationschip was sweet, deep and pure and not about drugs, parties (like Zayn and louis). Zayn and Harry they still sing about each other. It makes me sad everytime I listen to their songs. And I read smewhere that Harry wanted to leave together with Zayn but at the end he couldn't throw under the bus liam, louis and niall but as you say "he was clearly over it"

This is one possible narrative. I suspect the truth is more complicated although it would not surprise me if Zayn and Harry had talked about leaving/ending the band and when Zayn decided he had to go, he and Harry had that big fight that Bangkok Joe tweeted about. We’ll never know, but Zayn was obviously hurt later when “some people” wouldn’t get in touch. History is being rewritten right now, through interviews with Liam especially, to make them all into coworkers, but you can’t fake the relationships they had. Those boys were close to each other, maybe at different times and in different ways, but close.

You know how songs & lyrics give you feels for a certain ship? BOY DO I GOT SOME SONGS FOR YOU 1. Uh huh-ROMANS= post twitter fight zouis. The whole damn song is them VERSE 1! CHORUS IS ZAYN 2. Baby I Miss You-2ne1= post zayn leaving ziall. its Kpop so you might want to look for subtitles + I think its interesting the things they choose to say in English. My fav part for ziall is the spoken part near the end. I don't wanna say too much about either b/c i wanna hear what you think. Love your blog

A lot of my feelings about zouis in the context of Zayn leaving are about the two of them together being confused and confusing but it feeling reasonably safe as long as they’ve both got their significant others back home? And about Louis’ break with Eleanor complicating everything and scaring Zayn away. It’s horrible and sad and I hate it, but I cannot tell a lie. This song is very that.

This song is cute as hell and fits perfectly with my idea of post-zayn ziall. Like so perfectly this feels like a TRAP *looks left and right in a very suspicious way*.
