To be fair, Karik had a free ice skate coupon for like months and it was about to expire. So asking Bogo out to this place woul allow the use of the coupon along with spending more time between himself and Bogo. Bogo was always acting strong or overworking himself so learning something new together might be a good way for them to bond with one another. Plus, Bogo did look way more exhausted than normal so it was easier to maybe request this from the police chief.
Karik offered out a hand to the other hoping to maybe act as something Bogo could lean on until they go to the wall. So they could make their way around the outer edge of the ice rink.
"Don't worry, I promise I won't let ya fall."
Karik offered a winning smile, putting on that charm well as much as a turtle could. But his nature Karik did have to go slow anyway.
