Czech is an Indo-European language belonging to the Slavic branch from Czechia, where around 9 400 000 of its 12 250 000 speakers live. It’s the main language and isn’t threatened.
Motivation: It was coined within the last 100 years (1921) by Josef Čapek for a sci-fi setting. It comes from "robota" (=serfdom/unpaid labour required by feudal lords and colloquially used derogatory for arduous work) and gave the name to mechanical humanoids used in many other languages! Current sci-fi media wouldn't be the same without this Czech word.
Zrywka (Polish)

Translation: It's one of those flimsy plastic bags you get to pack your fruits at the supermarket, the ones that come of a roll
Polish is an Indo-European language belonging to the Slavic branch. It’s spoken by 36,7 million people in Poland where it is the national language. It is written with a Latin alphabet due to church influence, adapted with the addition of nine letters (ą, ć, ę, ł, ń, ó, ś, ź, ż) and removal of three (x, q, v).
Motivation: ITS A REGIONAL WORD AND NO ONE FUCKING KNOWS WHAT IT IS ONCE I MOVED. ITS A WAY BETTER WORD THAN SIATKA. SIATKA IMPLIES YOU CAN CARRY THINGS IN IT. ZRYWKA IS A FLIMSY PIECE OF PLASTIC. ONLY A MADMAN WOULD USE A ZRYWKA AS A SIATKA. don't even get me started on reklamówka. the only people saying that reklamówka and zrywka are synonyms must have no idea what a zrywka is. REKLAMÓWKA. IMPLIES. THERE'S A LOGO ON IT. REKLAMÓWKA IS ONE OF THOSE BAGS THAT HAS A PRINT ON IT. THERES A SHOP NAME ON IT.
