ZTALE: Where do we go from here?

(Gosh how long has it been?) I wondered as I walked. for years we wanted to see the surface….. “But now?”  I laughed silently as small hands grip my shoulders tighter. “sorry kiddo I almost forgot you where there”. “who were you talking to?” a small girl squeaked quietly from behind me. I sighed “no one I was just thinking about before.” “you mean before the sickness happen? like when you used to live underground?” I chuckled as I looked back  to the small brunet girl on my back her grayish blue eyes starring back at me. I smiled she was a good kid. “yeah Katie we use to dream about seeing the stars and the sun but now theirs not realy time to star gaze anymore….” she hugged me as a attempt to cheer me up “well goldie, im glad your here, your like a big sister to me!” she said I smiled as we walk up to a fork in the path “so…. Katie Where do we go from here?” the end for now.
